This incident wasn’t mentioned on the news last night, as far as I know.
They were busy arguing Swedish government statistics versus Swedish government statistics. Crime is up 75%. No, crime is down. Both sides quoting supposedly from the same government statistics. It would be nice if someone relatively unbiased would do a little statistical analysis and explain how the same statistics can be cherry-picked to give two opposite results.
Yes, I know its done all the time. It necessary though to show how its done so everyone understands where the opposing numbers are coming from.
