A transactions tax? That puts him on the side of the Totalitarians. A transactions tax is worse even than the VAT and subject to ever increasing bites. If someone can explain to me how this ATT is not a transactions tax, I'll pay the man more attention.
What is being discussed is a “cash flow tax,” in an effort to get around excise taxes, but still having the same end effect.
