An unfortunate names for a politician. I shouldn't talk though. One of my state reps. is named Leach.
Since Strange is 6’ 9” tall, many in Alabama just call him Big Luther.
One of the headlines in the NYTs articles posted in the WW II saga was “Milton Young Replaces Moses in the Senate”.
Looked to be big shoes to fill. Actually he was replacing Senator John Moses of North Dakota. Young went on to serve 35 years in the Senate.
In looking this up I learned there was also a Senator George Moses who served in the Senate from 1918 to 1933 representing NH.
