The simple answer is that they ran their campaign to win the election. His opponent assumed the win was hers and did not Work for it.

Old fashioned hard work won the election

More importantly, he used the weapons of the techno-left (Google, Facebook, Reddit, Twitter, etc.) against them.

It's almost like he has internalized Sun Tzu's "The Art of War".

Hence that general is skillful in attack whose opponent does not know what to defend; and he is skillful in defense whose opponent does not know what to attack. -Sun Tzu

I don’t disagree - it’s just that *where* he campaigned was so spot on, so precise, I had wondered what technologies they might have been using. It was clear to me it wasn’t normal. He hit Sterling Heights, MI, late in the run, a place with a HUGE Iraqi Christian population. An area that has had assemblies and marches about the genocide of Christians in the ME, where there are large blood red crosses in peoples yards and “Save Iraqi Christian” bumper stickers EVERYWHERE. The county flipped red. It was THE place to have a rally (at a place called “Freedom Hill” no less!).

I remember thinking it was genius. He also hit other areas in southeast Michigan and on the west side. The state flipped, to the shock of many but it really didn’t surprise me.

Yes, he worked so much harder than Hillary, I was a bit shocked at that....but his team worked very smart and I’m pretty sure they were using new techniques.
