Sears and Kmart have stopped selling products from the Trump Home line on their websites, Business Insider reports.

Items from Trump Home, which is part of the Trump Organization, were reportedly not available on both websites and did not appear in a search of either website as of Friday.

“As part of the company’s initiative to optimize its online product assortment, we constantly refine that assortment to focus on our most profitable items,” a Sears Holdings spokesperson told Business Insider. “Amid that streamlining effort, 31 Trump Home items were among the items removed online this week. Products from the line are still offered online via third-party Marketplace vendors.”

Sears sold 19 Trump Home items on their website and Kmart sold 13 Trump Home items on their website as of Tuesday, according to brand strategist Shannon Coulter, who started the #GrabYourWallet Trump boycott.

...

The report comes after Nordstrom dropped Ivanka Trump’s merchandise and TJ Maxx pulled advertising for her products.

My wife was a manager with Sears Optical (owned by Luxottica, not Sears) and I'm glad she doesn't have their imminent closure hanging over her head anymore

In Detroit, SS Kresge or K-Mart was a great place in the 1960’s and 1970’s. I used to develop my film there and wait 7 days for the film to be processed! Never forget, the “Flashing Blue Light Special”...great memories of a great store gone defunct.

So who is going to buy a Kenmore kitchen or laundry appliance with no warranty to speak of; probably not even a year since they won’t be in business anymore?

Now there’s a brilliant business strategy. You’re in a death spiral so go out and insult roughly half of your potential customers. Very clever.

Remember the cheapo deli sandwiches? Kmart had terrific bargains in the 1970s with them, and these were even better than Subway of today.

The senior management at Sears is too busy feathering their own nest to effectively manage the company. I have had great success with Sears products and service but their reliance on big box stores has worked against them.

Heck! I used to get a cheap Deli sandwich and a cold slushy coke drink, walk over to the Sporting good area and linger for a long, long time! Then, I would head over to the hobbies area and buy stuff associated with Estes rocket launchers...

They are in my area. K-Mart store is a Hobby Lobby (YAY!) and the last time I was in a Sears (a couple of years ago) all the shoppers were Hispanic.

And to make it better, the K-mart that was here is being made over into a Hobby Lobby!

“As if Sears needs to cut its market share any further. Looks like another excellent short to me. When will these CEOs quit making such boneheaded decisions that alienate half of their potential customers?”

The liberals have already proven that their warped ideology comes before survival. Clearly, they feel the same in business matters.

It should be made plain to them that if they’re going to act like snowflakes and ban Trump, half the country (the half with most of the money) is going to ban THEM.

Is a business really a business if it constantly tries to commit seppuku?

That’s what I thought. The real news is that those companies are still around. It’s like saying that PanAm and Eastern Airlines will not ship Trump merchandise.

PC decisions have destroyed both K Mart and Sears. They deserve to go bankrupt.

These companies need to take a close look at the electoral map with all the Trump counties. These are their customers.

Hillary counties are not their customers as there are damn few of their stores in Hollywood and Manhattan.

Good morning.

Sears closed in St. Pete, and Kmart closed in LoL this past year.

Doesn’t look good for them.
