A lot of women - mainly the pushy, overbearing, obnoxious, holier than thou types - I have absolutely no problem reminding them that Black Men got to vote before them.
Well, they were afforded the right to, whether they got to the ballot box or not is another story...

I remember always thinking the Girls in HS were ‘smarter’ than me.

But as I grew older I just realized I was being a Gentleman, and a little white lie can sometimes be told if it makes others FEEL better.

Same as I used to say I was sane and had a paper to prove it.

I was referring to my psych evals for Submarine Service, and again - as I grew older - I figured out that basic Armed Forces test was not to prove one sane, it was to prove that one was CRAZY enough to sink a perfectly good ship and live in it, jump out of a perfectly good airplane, swim 20 miles at night etc etc etc

Girls in high-school get better GRADES than we did. They are more obedient to authority, study and do homework when told to, aren't distracted by sports, ballgames or.....well, girls. Better grades does not necessarily equal smarter. Just means you pleased the authority figures more.

That being said, I raised two daughters who are WAY too smart to fall for any of this nonsense.
