Maybe I’m being silly here, but your comment makes me think of the “free lunch” mindset of the liberal left.
You can even see how it ruined NHL hockey, as a number of years back, the same sort of twits would go on about how stupid players like Guy Lafleur or Al Secord or Rod Langway or Bobby Clarke and numerous other veteran players were for not wearing helmets. Nowadays, the game is filled with stickwork and blindsiding and cheapshot offences a great deal because the headgear took away a great deal of respect players had in previous years and gave them a “I’ll do whatever I want out there, I am owed that sort of thing”.

I was just thinking this morning about being in a work environment and I am sure glad I am retired!
I know a few Saudi women in the United States. We couldn’t take family pictures of them. They had to wear full head coverings in public though they would remove the most restrictive of those when the door was closed. No driving. If their children had difficulties at school, the husband had to deal with the problem. There are more things I noticed, but these few things are enough.

- women can’t drive in Saudi Arabia
- women out in public cannot be in the company of a man other than a husband or a male family member
- when out in public, women must be properly covered (hijab and abaya minimum)
- women are basically chattel, divorce is at the husband’s discretion, and the divorced wife gets basically only what she can carry or wear (hence all the gold jewelry)
- oh, and Linda, if your husband should decide to beat you to death, he’ll probably get off scot-free
This just off the top of my head without going into the specifics of punishments under the legal system for adultery, making an accusation of rape etc etc.
OK. As soon as the pregnant women surrender their drivers licensees they can get 10 weeks paid preggo leave.
