Kodi is an open source home theater app that has add-ons that give you access to online content. Behind the scenes the streaming is done using bit torrent. Pretty much find anything that has ever been recorded.

I have a Roku 3 and have been pretty happy with it. But, I have to say, Kodi pretty much blows it away, albeit with higher complexity.

Kodi “builds” (pre-configured installs of Kodi) can pretty much handle the complexity issue for you, though. Search Youtube for “Kodi build”, sort by date and watch a few of the more recent vids. Before you know it Youtube will be recommending new Kodi videos left and right, as new Kodi related stuff appears just about every day.
