We're going back and forth trying to parse details no one understands or can verify. The media are in way over their heads on this one.
Does it seem unusual to you that the press is now trying to determine what’s true and what’s false in intelligence dossiers, originated by foreign operatives, for which no one can be sure of the identities of the original sources, let alone their credibility?
That’s not because no such dossiers existed before Donald Trump came along. Far from it. Intelligence operatives - whether state-sponsored of independent and working on behalf of political players (or others) - have been compiling such dossiers on public figures since such things were possible. Anyone who has ever covered politics - myself included - has probably been approached at some point by some character claiming to have the explosive goods on this, that or the other guy.

So with all these dictator controlled countries crying out for us not to vote for Trump, would the subversive press claim world leaders “hacked” the election if Killary had won?
Everything about this is very easy to understand.
The content of the narrative is false and meaningless. It’s the trajectory of the narrative that tells us what’s going on:
They don’t like Trump and will lie about anything to harm his agenda.
In the current context, I don’t think it’s even worth engaging in discussion about Russia, or about any hacking, anywhere by anyone.

Oh, I disagree. It is exactly why they should be talking to the press. We would never have known that so much of the intelligence service lacks the B.S. detector of a high-school gossip queen. It's like Dan Rather has taken over the place - you have to consider that these are some pretty serious allegations, if true.
Now we know why they missed the fall of the Shah, the collapse of the Soviet Union and found Sadam's nuclear weapons factories.

Who cares? This dopey story has been on the Maytag spin cycle for weeks. The election is over and these morons are trying to un-ring the bell. I don’t even know why anyone here wants to perpetuate this soap opera.
And we love it so much that it now never owns a pair of pants (or panties) to hide our sin, let alone put them on (a la Sam Clemens/Mark Twain). Children of the Devil, we are.

This is exactly why we need to keep the electoral college, and not rely on a mobocracy to execute justice, carried out with the urgency of Judge Lynch.

Any intelligence employee who talks to any member of the press for any reason should be immediately fired.
All information exchanges, if any at all, should take place at the executive level.
I also like the way the Russians went down-ticket and gave the House and Senate majorities to Republicans.
That was really nice.
