I cannot think of a time when they ever were. Day one it was formed with Ivy Leaguers and connected bankers for the express purpose of keeping them on top. It has operated against Americas founding principles since day one. It has helped in 5 major drug smuggling waves since the French connection days. Assassinated foreign leaders, was behind or at least turned a blind eye to JFK, has missed every attack on America. And now, they have literally and openly allied with black flag waving Al Qeida. They have turned their spy apparatus inward on the American people. They missed 9/11, the Boston Bombers, the fall of the USSR and the Berlin wall, etc.
Everything they publically state is a lie, from the bomber gap to fund the contras, to the missile gap, to selling coke out of Mena Arkansas, to moderate Syrian rebels.
Guys, they are our Stasi and need to be disbanded.
