I agree. Trump hasn't the authority to do this...yet. Obama hired him in 2008, so I'm assuming this is just another under-handed act performed by the Kenyan to create trouble.
GWB hired him - Obama kept him on by rejecting his resignation in 2009 and 2013. Trump accepted his resignation (He turned 65 in October FWIW).
So no one fired him, GWB hired him and O chose to not accept his resignation in 2009 and 2013.
Quite easy to understand but that way it doesn't make the front page of the newspaper.
