Disturbing reports are coming in that Twitter has taken down a photo that showed President Barack Hussein Obama holding something truly despicable.
The image reportedly showed Obama holding the book "The Post-American World," which was written by radical Muslim author Fareed Zakaria.
"In the book, Zakaria argues that, thanks to the actions of the United States in spreading liberal democracy across the world, other countries are now competing with the US in terms of economic, industrial, and cultural power," the Wikipedia description read. "While the US continues to dominate in terms of political-military power, other countries such as China and India are becoming global players in many fields."
"The world is moving from anger to indifference, from anti-Americanism to post-Americanism," Zakaria wrote. "The fact that new powers are more strongly asserting their interests is the reality of the post-American world. It also raises the political conundrum of how to achieve international objectives in a world of many actors, state and non-state."
It's disturbing that our own president was spotted reading such a blatantly anti-American book. It's also sickening that Twitter submitted to Obama by removing the image of him holding Zakaria's work…

Bingo. The posted story is much ado about nothing. I guess the name "Zakaria" sounded funny, and so set the author off on a rant.

I’m not sure if the blog-writer is correct or not that Twitter is deleting the photo when it pops up on Twitter. But if it IS getting erased - that is the news. Not the book, but the idea that Twitter can erase things.
I have no idea how Twitter works. Is it like Free Republic, where the owner has the final say and can take whatever he wants down, and most everyone knows those rules?
Or - is Twitter an open forum and “anything goes”? Probably not - I’m guessing pornographic images and stuff aren’t allowed. So somewhere there is an “Admin” that goes through and removes stuff that it finds “objectionable”. So the story becomes Twitter finds a public photo of Obama that is bad “optics” for Obama, and removes that photo.
I’m not sure how big of a deal it is, if any. But - as I’ve told my kids about the “fake news” - it has ALWAYS been around, but is so much easier with photoshop and the internet. So use some common sense when reading stuff online.
They know that Facebook pushes the liberal agenda, and it wouldn’t surprise me if Twitter does as well.
BTW - Google (and probably other search engines) aren’t the best way to get after the “Truth” either, as they are geared towards the results of your previous searches. Some writer used various friend’s computers to search the same words. His computer brought up things about science and writing. A chef’s friend brought up stuff about food and travel more. (For example - “Things to do in New York City”.

Yes, it’s from the 2008 race. This pic was one of the reasons I was horrified by Obama and why I believe all the birther nonsense.

There is no thunder yet but this stuff is starting to occur more and more, and the platforms have to be bombarded when it happens. We need to keep good track of this kind of thing while it is still under the radar.
Yeah, truthfully, the USA is now sharing the world economic condition with many other nations. I personally want every nation on Earth to be economically happy with freedom and individual responsibility. And I rather think the Christian God would want such a world as well.!
