How right you are!
On my last interview, things were going swimmingly when a comment was made they were "concerned" about my lack of experience in a different area of accounting. One can only cram a portion of 25 years of experience into two pages.
In 45 seconds, I turned that around to "oh, we're sorry, you may have too much experience for this position.
This was back in 2009. Fortunately, the FDIC was ramping up, and I got a term position with them. In 10 months, I went from a GS-7 to a GS-13. Unfortunately, it was a term position, as I said, though I nearly got five years out of it.
I know all to well how those situations go. As a contrator in the automotive buisness things have been pretty tough the last 15 years. However the last 4 years have been Great. When outsourcing under Bush really took off things were very bad, and as at Carrier the Boss's, with Glee were more than happpy to tell us about our impending Doom. I will always remember telling the Republican Pr*ck that one day I will be holding the Bat. Today, I hold that Bat, and Gleefully am swinging at their heads. $😊 $ and they are paying for it. Trump will only make our positions Stronger. MAGA
