What, are they too good to paint address numbers on street curbs? I may not have liked it, but that put food on the table at one point in my life.

I would paint numbers on curbs. But I’m the wrong color. Amazing to me how most gubmint workers here are not white. Meaning they’re black. There I said it.

You’re assuming too much.

What’s paint?

How do you hold the brush?

Anyone too proud to clean toilets or sweep floors can starve to death for all I care.

Painting house numbers on curbs is one of the most useful and noble jobs a man can have. People put their house numbers in the most random locations and use all sorts of artsy fartsy numbers that aren’t legible from the street. Working as a delivery person is infinitely easier in neighborhoods that have the numbers on the curb.
