Let's hope it stays that way. Congress critters have a tendency to pass around aides regardless of their political bent. Hopefully the GOP legislators will engage their brains and hire only right-leaning talent, which will help to change the culture in D.C. a bit.

I’m one of those rare birds, a DC native. This isn’t new. Admins bring their own people who follow their own policies. All others go home.

Maybe now some of these elitists will go back to Nebraska or wherever and do some real work for real people. I’m not against policy wonks (having worked in a DC think tank, I was one), but living in DC, it is easy to lose touch with the real people of this country. I bet most of these Obama folks would do well to get their hands dirty again with the real people.
