Can someone please explain to me why, when so many democrats openly despise Israel, do so many Jews contribute and support the democrats?
It is confusing. My only answer is some folks get swept up into defending whoever is the ‘underdog’ aka Loser in a particular contest of wills. They forget, sometimes a person or entity loses and it’s a good thing, because they represent a very dangerous cause.
This is seen in spousal abuse. If a cop sees a man hitting a woman, it is usually assumed that a male is hurting a defenseless female. Sometimes, that is not the case at all. Many times a fake victim learns to exaggerate or straight out create a scenario that frames their enemy into looking like a predator or bully.
It’s because for many Jews, liberalism is their religion.
My Jewish M-I-L says that Republicans are Christians and that’s why they support Democrats,

Way back in my college days I had a buddy who’s name ended in Berg who would get red faced angry about this. He called them “poodle Jews”. He couldn’t come up with an explanation eithsr.
