I absolutely despise it when people presume to invoke Jesus’ name to support their point as if by doing so, they can manipulate true believers into agreeing with them.
The mindset is that the minute a believer hears someone claim something is from Scripture or Jesus might have thought it, a believer will capitulate and agree with them. It’s manipulation, plain and simple.
