MARK LEVIN: The 'Code Pink Republicans' want to appease the Chinese and Putin
Conservative Review ^ | December 16, 2016 | Chris Pandolfo

Friday evening Conservative Review Editor-in-Chief Mark Levin sounded the alarm on the growing “Putin wing” of the Republican Party.

China is on the move, having seized a U.S. underwater drone in the South China Sea. And there are members of the Republican party, the “Code Pink Republicans,” Levin said, that would appease the Chinese in the face of this aggression.

“We now have a group in the Republican party that embraces George McGovern’s foreign policy!” Levin said.

Listen:

“You see appeasement, isolationism, passivity in the face of evil … [which] results in more provocations as they [China] continue to test the outside limits of what it is that they want to do,” Levin explained.

America-last Rex Tillerson has quite a cozy relationship with the Islamic supremacist nation of Qatar

On the one hand, there are voices pushing to avoid conflict with the Chinese. On the other hand, there are Establishment and pro-Putin Republicans pushing for the nomination of Rex Tillerson as secretary of State, a man who is soft on Putin. The Republican party seems to be going soft on our enemies.

"I'm embarrassed to see a Putin wing in the Republican party,” Levin said.

Heard him yesterday describe himself as the canary in the coal mine.
No, I replied, more like the turd in the punch bowl.

“One party state fascist Russia has no interest in being an ally of the United States. Death to America Iran is their BFF. Buy a clue, FRiend.”

We are diplomatically “pragmatic” with most countries in the world without pristine democratic leadership. If we held every country to the same standard as Russia, we would have, maybe, a dozen or so allies.

Putin is a bad guy, he has done bad things and is a political strongman. He also can be helpful in some areas of mutual interest. He can also be a pain in the ass.

This obsession with demonizing Russia is idiotic. You and Levin both buy into (for Russia only) the “Putin is a thug” line which is fine, however there is a necessary follow on unless you wish to rekindle the cold war, and that is ALWAYS missing from arguments like yours.

The real reason why Russia is talked about as they are today is that we know they can take criticism from US politicians and not fly off the handle (like China always does) and there is the government-as-victim types like you and Hillary who just want to stick a thumb in the eye of the upcoming administration.

Putin will be treated with the realpolitic of today’s real world. So will China, even North Korea. It’s just the way it is in the real world.

That’s where Levin and you and Obama and Hillary and the Media all agree. You simply hate Trump because his ascendancy is both democratic and “unpresidented”. You just hate him. You’ll reluctantly acknowledge (as Levin does) that there are good things to come, but you bitch incessantly if Trump says anything about working with Putin or Russia, because “putin is a thug”

Thuggery has never been a criteria for not working with anyone in world before. Why now?

Your position of “Russia isn’t out friend” is a Bullshit pat statement (like the sky is blue) that you think awards you the moral high ground. Nonsense. Indeed buy a clue and grow up.

Criticize at will, but don’t think it makes you right or smart or insulates yout from criticism. It makes you a pupil of Mark Levin who is lost in the wilderness because someone got elected that he didn’t like.

Wake up.

“Nobody is calling for us to get in bed with the Russians. “

Exactly. Besides, the biggest and most immediate threat to the future survival of America is the demoncrat crime syndicate and islam.

Two death cults bent on the destruction of America.

I want to see this polled:

“Who is more anti-American? Obola or Putin?”

Putin is not exactly a good guy.

With that said I don’t see that the R party has a Putin wing. Some of us have pointed out that it’d be nice if we had a leader who loved America the way Putin loves Russia.

I think we should cooperate with them where it serves our interest. We should oppose them where it serves our interest. And we should never, ever, turn our backs to them.

Reagan believed in trust but verify. It’s still relevant today. So yes, we should work with them against Islamic terrorism and to keep China’s territorial ambitions in check.

We should oppose the Russians when they try to make more land grabs in Europe. The whole thing with Ukraine was a travesty that a strong American president could likely have prevented.

The Russians need to understand that aggression against our Eastern European allies won’t be tolerated.

We need to do no such thing in Europe. Let the Europeans funds and man their own defense against Russia. If they want to pay for the whole thing and some profit for the USA, then maybe but it’s not our job to defend Europe from Russia. Given europes inviting Muslim invaders into Europe recently it might be better in some regards anyway.

How hard is it for people to understand? Even ostensible smart people don't get it...RUSSIA IS NOT RED ANYMORE. It is not Communist, not even a little bit. Lets stop making it a generic bogeyman and lumping them in with China.

I would pay top dollar to you to call Levin when I’m listening to his program. But I would have to condition the payment upon how many seconds you last.

“for a supposed smart guy, he is blatantly stupid in his ignorance of how “sour grapes” his behavior makes him look. It’s downright embarrassing. Doubling and tripling down on Wrong.”

Chryssie Hynde had Levin nailed back in 1979.

Well, then I would’ve paid top dollar for anyone to call Air America and express the same sentiment. But it is out of business, and Air Levin is not.

Not yet. It's time for Levin to stop his sobbing, or he will be.

Hahaha. Whatever. I could be just like Levin. I could call him a big dummy a jerk and a dope and tell him to get off the damn phone. Takes a lot of talent to insult people. Another Levin sycophant I see.
