I’m thinking Vera Cruz would be ironically fitting.

Hopefully that “something” involves deportation.

I would hope so.

That's a very important stipulation. The "dreamers" must be made aware that while they will be able to get in the back of the line, it's critical to stress that the "back of the line" is in their home country.

I’m not down with this. We either have a sovereign country or not. DACA w/o path to citizenship is senseless, with that path it is amnesty and we have no rule of law. I feel for these folks, but it needs to stop now or it never will.

Subsidized fares how would be a nice thing to work out for criminals who are in our country illegally.

Trump is a business man and is not used to doing the mafia like hits of democrats, and thus he tends to wish to avoid confrontation.

These dreamers only
dream of their middle finger making it all the way up to our noses, but whatever, just like the recount hostage crisis, he wont retaliate with a recount and deportation of his own.

There’s already a HUGE amount of anchor babies.

If their parents want to leave them behind that’s their business. I doubt many will.

It would ... but Chiapas is the southern-most port in Mexico. If they want to try crawling back across our border, make ‘em work for it.

Yep, we first should drop the word dreamers and send them packing like the rest of the Obama terrorism vector languages

Obama said the dreamers were young people that had grown up in the U.S. because their parents brought them here when they were babies. In reality, Obama allowed adults that had only been in the U.S. a few years to be designated dreamers.

Send the parents back first, then we’ll figure it out and maybe be flexible

Thanks!

Now that you demonstrate that you run on feelings than facts based on MSM cheese, we can ignore your future posts.

The right can use less of this garbage.

You must leave and come back. We're not going to break up families. You can ALL go together. We're not going to detain you.

You want to finish school?? Okay...it ends in Jun...out you go. They have schools in Mexico and you can speak Spanish to your heart's content.

I wouldn’t mind a small concession in exchange for ending the anchor baby loophole. Now that would be a good deal.

I think the whole “Dreamers” thing is missing the point. I do think that children that are brought to the US at no fault of their own are not in the same class as someone who illegally enters the US knowingly breaking the law so I’m not opposed to them applying for citizenship through normal channels. I do not believe they should be put at the front of the line nor do I believe they should have access to special education opportunities also I think that all non citizens should be ineligible for any affirmative action related programs.

Regardless of what President Trump does on the “dreamer” issue will not be as important as what he must do on the immigration issue the legality of which will be determined by whether or not we can achieve a historic majority of conservative justices. If we can then we can permanently reverse rulings that have incentified illegal immigration because the key reason for illegal immigration is that people are coming here for a combination of things. They want access to our public services, they want jobs and opportunities. We need to make sure that they CAN NOT plug themselves into the aggrieved minority pipeline. We need to make being an illegal a truly difficult situation so that businesses do not benefit and illegals want to return home.

I think we need law that empowers citizens to receive damages from businesses in the event they are displaced by non citizen labor. We need to provide incentives to lawyers and individuals to sue companies that are replacing citizen labor with non citizens. We have an EEOC and it needs to be changed to protect US Citizens from illegal hiring practices.

I wonder how much they are reading into his comments. Their expecting a backing off and he knows that when he gets to that phase, he will have much better info to work with. Securing the borders and getting rid of Rahm’s favorites is the first step and it will evolve as things move along. I’m expecting that more States will be allowed to demand picture ID and proof of citizenship for registering and voting as an offshoot of it. Can’t imagine him making all the noise about voter fraud, and sticking to his guns, if he didn’t have something in mind.
