A Sikh, born in Texas?
I would have no problem with them for neighbors. Sikh’s are very honorable people. Armed neighbors are a blessing, never know when you might need such a friend.
.38 SPL +P at close quarters from a snubbie will usually get the job done.
The trigger on the Ruger LCR is superb!
38 Special +P JHP ,,
CHEAP TO practice with ,
yet effective to carry.
Practice with what You carry!
I just googled it. Yep, that works :)
Can all snubs take +P?
And why use high pressure in such a short barrel?
I don’t know a thing about high pressure rounds. So the answer is don’t use them?

I’ve used martial Tai Chi to defend myself.
I won. Yang school.
Great !
You must have a good & knowledgeable instructor.
In my school there has been an on-going “drama” between those wanting to learn Tai Chi as a martial art & the New Age types wanting it to be a “religious/spiritual experience”. Unfortunately the “New Age’ers” significantly outnumber the “martial artists”. It’s been very hard on the instructor trying to please all parties. Since we are all “paying customers” and this is how he makes his living.

Old friend almost lost his thumb when his brand new Taurus .357 exploded on the first shot.
The lady is lucky!
.
What load was he using?
Most revolver blowups are from “hot” handloads and double charged handloads.
It was commercial ammo.
amazing.
Did anyone attempt to determine the reason?
Did the cylinder blow out? the barrel bulge? was the top strap separated?
I would love to see pictures.
.
yes, the cylinder blew, and halves went sideways, and the shell casing bent the top of the frame over the cylinder.
His thumb was a real mess, and nobody thought it would survive, but 6 months of various surgeries and debradings kept it alive.
Pictures are long gone.
