Bolton was FANTASTIC as UN Ambassador. It was a pity it was a recess appointment...but he WAS an Ambassador.

Agreed. Only UN ambassador I’ve liked better was Jean Kirkpatrick. Bolton would be a good choice for SecState. He has the right enemies and would have to operate within Trump’s parameters, which seem to be less prone to overseas boondoggles than the last two decades.
