Here’s hoping and praying Preeident Trump cleans out all the islamonazi influence and agents obama’s brought into Washington DC, especially at the snakeDept - where the problem pre- existed , and our military and security agencies.

The more I think about it, he’s probably the best man for the job. I think he would be better than a politician. He was at State long enough he is maybe the ONLY one who can bring about that cultural revolution.

I personally think that Bolton is ideal for SofS because when he gets on subject, he is like an attack dog.

Does the State Department need a “cultural revolution”? At the very least it needs a housecleaning, and has for a very long time, according to former Ambassador John Bolton. Bolton, one of the short-listers to run Donald Trump’s State Department, reaches back all the way to the George H. W. Bush administration to explain how the Foggy Bottom bureaucracy — all 70,000 or so members of it around the world — act more as an independent foreign-policy think tank than act to implement the president’s policies. Bolton quotes former Secretary of State Jim Baker, who said at the time of his appointment, “I will be the president’s envoy to the State Department, and not the other way around.”

The job is more than just a management challenge, Bolton tells Fox & Friends — it requires a reformer:

“Neocon” is now a left wing meaning America First Patriot.

Bolton’s fingers will not be close to any triggers.

Sooner or later, Iran will be bombed, if it retains its current leadership. Its current leadership pledges that it will attack. Obama could have brought about a change when the people rose up. Maybe they will do it again.

I sure hope so and I sure hope Bolton will be the one. There’s no way he would face any challenges even from dems for confirmation. Well, in a real world anyway..which is questionable as long as dems continue to be dems.

Mine also....He is made for that job - the others can fit into other slots but this should be Bolton’s. No one else has the experience necessary for that job...

“”During the George W. Bush administration, Bolton served as the Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security (2001–2005)””

“”During the Reagan and George H. W. Bush administrations, he worked in several positions within the State Department, the Justice Department, and the U.S. Agency for International Development. He was a “protege” of conservative North Carolina Senator Jesse Helms.[29]””

Of all of them, Bolton has got the chops for the job. I really do hope it is him. I don’t care that he’s worked in past administrations and is an insider. For this job he is right, and every time I’ve seen him on cable news he has been solidly on our side.

He is a little bit of a reactionary neocon, but better to have a smart neocon like Bolton than a drunk idiot neocon like Hillary. And imho the con in neocon does not stand for conservative. It stands for convict. Yeah so Bolton may break a few international laws, but at least he will be smart about it.

Agreed. Only UN ambassador I’ve liked better was Jean Kirkpatrick. Bolton would be a good choice for SecState. He has the right enemies and would have to operate within Trump’s parameters, which seem to be less prone to overseas boondoggles than the last two decades.
