Can’t say nutin’ about your question: Fox Business via an app?
The other questions = answer would be yes. You have available major networks which show sports and countless other broadcasts, you have many, many movies both told old classics and newer ones as well and tee vee shows, old and new
Fox News is shown, just no clue about Fox Business on app.
Play Station Vue app on Roku will give you live streaming TV.
Channels include ESPN 1 & 2, FOX SPORTS 1 & 2. PLANS ARE $30 to $65 per month. I am very pleased with the lowest priced plan with over 40 channels.

Roku 1 is on sale for $25.00....anyone know anything about this model?
TIA.
Thanks!!
I don’t know about that one. I bought Roku Streaming Sticks. The sticks have the same quad core processor as used in their highest priced devices. Regular price is $50, but they were on sale for $35.
I wouldn't get that one. It was quite antiquated. Slow processor and little memory will not be able to handle the HD loads of today's streams. It will be very slow. Get at least a model 2 and preferably a 3 or 4. You get what you pay for. ((Or get the Amazon Fire TV))
I do not use a DVR as there are repeats of the shows I watch everywhere.
Click on the 3rd image down on the left. It shows ROKU among others.

Thanks for the heads up!
Love my Roku 4
:-)
You can do that with the new TIVOs I believe?
Anyhow, the Roku TV is alacarte TV.
For the record, I have a Roku 4 and the latest Apple TV. I also have a Digital Powered Antenna 50 miles for local channels a Netflix stream and Amazon Prime.
I pay $55 a month for 100mb of Internet (would pay that ), and $8 a month for Streaming Netflix, and an Amazon Prime account I pay about $70 once a year year (Black Friday Deal). This includes many free movies, all the music I want, digital books free and free 2 day shipping. That’s it!
Anyhow, I have more TV than I can possibly deal with. It’s ridiculous once you know how to navigate tit. Well worth it in my opinion.
Netflix, Direct TV and many other companies these days allow you to share up to 4 users on your account via the web. I found its very advantageous to do this. For instance, you share one of your 4 Netflix authorized accounts with a family member or close friend that has for instance Direct TV (they are allowed to share up to 4 accounts). That way it saves you a little money to get Live cannel feeds without having to pay $5 a month if you subscribe to it.
In any event many channels are free. Plus you can get Youtube, and there are many old classic movies on their for free. Bottom line is this. There is more than enough believe me.
It depends on which “channels” you are watching. Most of the channels I watch on Roku do not. Some of the free movie channels have limited commercials, usually at the very beginning. Some Roku channels have live TV streaming, so of course they have commercials. Pay movie streaming services generally do not.
Kodi is like Roku on steroids!
