“Sens. Debbie Stabenow of Michigan, Patty Murray of Washington and Ron Wyden of Oregon will hold a press conference at noon to press for a Senate rules change requiring all Cabinet nominees to submit three years of their tax returns to the panel charged with reviewing their qualifications for the top Trump administration posts.”

I irked a hi-tech redneck commie lib several years ago when the subject of paying more taxes voluntarily. He made double what I did but for some reason thought I should give more but not him.
Tax returns are a very “personal, private matter” that should only be known to a taxpayer and their accountant, just like the decision to murder your unborn child...right, libs?
The income tax is not about revenue, it is about power. The income tax forces every American to divulge information that is protected under the first amendment. It needs to be abolished and replaced by a taxation scheme that allows for Americans to their God-given right of privacy and freedom.
Taxes are supposed to be confidential it is a slippery slope. If they get their way soon anyone will be able to insist on your taxes.
If there’s something wrong with their taxes, the IRS would be already in the process of penalizing them.
Whether or not that is happening is all they’d really need to know.
Those folks have probably been audited a dozen times already for being republicans.
