California legislators are in the process of rolling out what will be the strictest gun control laws in the country. Democrat state Legislatures rolled out a list of proposals that will instantly criminalize most of the states law abiding gun owners.

Socialists, communists and fire ants: they show up in your yard and demand to know why you are trespassing.
So...for those who may be able to get a ticket to carry in CA and owns a 9mm or .45ACP...they'll HAVE to use FMJ rounds for any self defense carry situations.
Know your target and what's behind it takes on a whole new meaning. Shop owner with FMJ loads shoots a thief wielding a baseball bat who is threatening him or his wife. The round passes through the thief and through the wall behind him and into the shop next door and into or through the other shop owner...or the child of a customer.
Great. All because some Liberal idiot thinks hollow points are cop killers.
They should be preparing a suit as soon as Trump changes the Court.
This looks like a bunch of BS from a website that sells guns. Maybe wants to profit from panic buying.
I agree that Dems would like all these items, but as far as I know, most are presently just dreams. What is information source, i.e., Calif legal House or Senate bill text?
Meanwhile, this list contradicts itself:
No Hi cap mags over 10 rounds (would allow 10 rounds or less) implying that you can have a gun to use these magazines.
then
No guns with detachable mags (but see above).
then
All grandfathered magazines illegal. (But 10 rounds or less is OK, above).
So I deduce this particular list is undocumented panic.
The only real hope for states like California with regards to Second Amendment rights is to challenge it in court.
Assuming no GOP betrayals in the Senate (highly questionable assumption I know, especially with likely only a 2-seat majority), they can approve any good nominee that Trump nominates to fill Scalia’s seat. But that would still only result in three reliable conservatives on the Sup Court, and even if Roberts stays true, Kennedy couldn’t be counted on to strike down laws like this.
So a challenge might be better if it comes after Trump is able to replace either Kennedy or Ginsburg, or ideally both if we’re lucky enough for them to retire in the next four years. Hopefully the GOP will expand the Senate majority in 2018, making it easier to get more predictably conservative judges confirmed.
I had read something recently about Cali threatening (LOL!) to secede if Trump was elected. I, for one fully support this.
Some of it is:
That would be my point. Some of it. Not all of it.
Yeah but since hitlary isn’t in jail for all the crimes she committed, laws don’t apply.
No problem, if that’s what they want, fine. We know more gun control laws don’t work...they are litterally shooting themselves in the foot.
Arizona is ready to supply the Golden State with all of your gun needs.
Along with black licorice-which is banned in CA, BTW
If Libtards thought hollow points were cop killers they would demand that only hollow points be sold!!!
Do these new laws apply to law enforcement personnel too?
If not, why not?
5.56mm
You might be right.
California is hell bent on self implosion.
My wife and daughter are already in Glendale OR. Myself and my retirement money will be joining them December 31, ‘17
You know what VOTED in by the people was traditional marriage in CA. YET courts OVERRULED our votes!!! So I say HELL YES take this through the courts people in this state have become SO BEYOND STUPID!!! CA. should NOT be allowed to vote the state has become a bastion of illegal immigrants WHO ARE VOTING ILLEGALLY!!!!
What about frangible or a Joe Biden shotgun?
Neither do I. I just went through the entire wording of Prop 63 and the proposed changes to the law. No where does it ban possession of HP ammo or amounts in excess of 500 rounds. FWIW San Francisco has a prohibition on certain types of HP rounds. Black Talon ( which is not sold anymore) and some labelled Law Enforcement. I have never seen any one run in on those.
Until someone can show where these particular measures are in the teXt of the law and or proposition I am calling FUD.
