FACEBOOK, hate that I got sucked into it. What an collosso waste of time. Floors me how some of my “friends” actually think that they use facebook as their forum to change the hearts and minds of others. It makes them feel so important, in the sea of their followers who know nothing. They are such an expert on everything, and if your opinion differs from them, you're stupid. If you debate them on an issue and they don't like what you said... their way of dealing with it, is defriending you.

I don’t have Facebook and I don’t have many friends. the friends I do have are almost all conservative or non-political and I’ve know most of my life. I don’t think I could be friends with a real leftist as the stupidity would be just too hard to deal with. Life is too short for that.

I suspect I already lost a lot of friends with my substantive and fact based postings about Hillary. I will not go away though, I promised everyone that would listen that this would only be the start and I would make sure that Trump follows through on what he says were his core beliefs. He has a short leash, as should any person that holds so much power in their hands.

I’m waiting to be “unfriended” by a guy I used to work with. He spends his time Posting Tweets from others bashing Trump.

I should have just ignored them, but I was up at 3AM watching Trump’s acceptance Speech and I went to town (again). LOL

If he continues the Trump bashing, he may be the first person I “unfriend”. Time to move on.

But I’d suggest noting the predictions they have for the Trump presidency.

Squirrel it away, and 3 years from now when Trump is running for term 2, bring it back out in the open.

Confront them in the future with what what they thought would happen. Undoubtedly, they will have been ridiculously wrong. Then see if you can lead them down a path to our side - something like if you were wrong about u,v,w,x,y and z three years ago, then maybe you’re also wrong about a,b and c now. And maybe you ought to rethink where you’re getting your news and information, and what party and people you’re supporting.

I know there aren’t many leftists who can actually be reasoned with, but it’s worth a try.

You just needed to manage your friends better. I am blessed that all of mine are conservative Christians. I got rid of my lone liberal years ago. I just left my page and it was loaded with Trump posts and many had lists of the characters who have said they are leaving this country. There were many prayers, too. I really enjoy it. There were a few about looney Hillary that I would not post on any site but they got their point across.
