Any attempt to tweak it, or change it, was met total resistance from the president, to democrats below him, all the way to dog catcher.
Democrats - from the president down, told lie after lie to sell this catastrophe to the American people. And, somehow got Sir Roberts of SCOTUS to convert the whole thing to a “tax” so it would fit the constitution.
Republicans were helpless, and USELESS through the whole process.
