Quite seriously, anyone here use Nexus mods (Nexus Mod Manager)? You don't really need to wait for the new version, modders have already upgraded the graphics and textures to 4K in some cases. The massive number of mods to enhance gameplay are amazing and I don't know that they will work with the new version without being updated.

Glowing unread books, Skyrim UI, enhanced HD Detail and distance detail, better dragons and smarter followers. The selection is fantastic. Go check it out - the game becomes 10 times more fun and more interesting.

Cheers all and beware knee-bound arrows...

I wish I could find the list (I periodically delete my mod list and start over just for the hell of it) but last time around I followed instructions for a list of mods and settings and achieved near photo-realistic graphics for the environment...I don’t think it can happen due to various constraints in the engine and what-not, but if the in-game characters could be modded up to the same level of realism, it would be incredible.
