At A Conference For Coastal Elites, Silicon Valley Talks Trump

Donald Trump’s popularity is prompting the tech industry to wonder whether its massive success has left some Americans behind.

Unless you’re invited to Graydon Carter’s private dinner, the cocktail party at San Francisco’s historic Ferry Building is supposed to be the highlight of the annual Vanity Fair New Establishment Summit, a high-end business conference for the coastal elite. On Wednesday evening, guests were escorted from the Yerba Buena Center to the Embarcadero by trolley and greeted by a six-person mariachi band who played through the selfies. But a little past 6 p.m., the crowd in the cathedral-esque lobby had already thinned, save for black-clad waitstaff and a few chefs dutifully cranking out mini pies with duck or mushroom at the pizza station. Everyone else was huddled together in a small alcove bar where two TVs had been set up to show the final presidential debate. Investment guru Mellody Hobson and her husband, director George Lucas, snagged themselves a couple chairs in front of one screen. Most stood. It was hard to hear over the din, but when Hillary Clinton called Donald Trump a puppet for Vladimir Putin, the crowd cheered in unison.

Vanity Fair’s conference, now in its third year, draws from some of the right wing’s least favorite industries, like media, entertainment, and Wall Street. Conan O’Brien showed up to the cocktail party, as did CBS CEO Les Moonves, former Twitter CEO Dick Costolo, billionaire investor Yuri Milner, and 23andMe CEO Anne Wojcicki, who brought her mom and daughter....

Hillary and the nuclear codes: She should not be allowed near them.

1. Trump. Hillary claims that Trump is too out of control emotionally and too unfit to be trusted
with the codes.

2. But I argue that it is Hillary, not Trump, who is too unstable mentally and physically, to be entrusted with the codes.

3. VERY POOR DECISION-MAKING SKILLS: SHE IS NOT QUICK ON HER FEET: Look at her home server controversy.

4. She quickly dismisses the controversy by saying “that It was “only” a simple “mistake” , and she won't do it again."

5. My question to Hillary: Before I vote, can you assure me that you won't be making more such
“mistakes” as President.

If you make mistakes, are you going to blame others?

6. It seems that your administration battle cry will be something like this for 4 years if things go wrong: “I was not responsible. The Russians did it.”

7. Hillary's POOR MEMORY, AND SHE TENDS TO LIE A LOT: Benghazi incident: She told family members that she did not remember what she told them. and she told them that she did not remember all the details about what happened on the day of the incident. Was her strange explanation due to her poor memory, or because she was lying on purpose.

Do we want a person with such a poor memory or who lies a lot, and who continually blames others for her "mistakes" to be our next President?

Also, Do we want four more years of Obama's lies, or four More years of the old Hillary-Bill Administration?

8. Another reason why she should not have access to the codes: Bill AND ABEDIN Are TOO STRONG AN INFLUENCE ON HILLARY: Because of her poor health, Hillary depends too much on Bill and Abedin to make key political decisions. I don't think that Hillary can go to the bathroom without telling Abedin where she is going.

9. Obviously, Bill is not in good health himself. What happens if Bill is bedridden or hospitalized during a crisis DURING THE NEXT 4 YEARS?

10. Who is Hillary going to turn to then? Her cabinet? or to Abedin? Kaine? God help us if she turns to Kaine?

Obviously, Hillary is also not in good health. If Hillary is bedridden or hospitalized during the next 4 years, will Kaine run the country? Do we want that?

11. Hillary's Presidency: I call it ruling by a committee of 3. I also call her Presidency the 3 headed monster of
Hillary, Bill, and Abedin.

12. Does anyone realize how much power Abedin will have in the Hillary Administration?

13. One point I want to make: If Hillary claims that Trump is unfit to have the codes, I wonder if she thinks that Bill and Abedin
are fit to have access to the codes? Can they pass a security clearance? Do they have the good decision-making skills and mental toughness to govern alongside Hillary?

Of course, only Hillary will have physical access to the codes, but bill and Abedin will be right there talking in her ear every minute and giving her advice on what to do.

14. To me, Hillary does not have the strong decision-making skills, nor the mental toughness, nor the good health to run this country for the next 4 years, or to have access to the nuclear codes.

15. For instance, if Russia launches missiles from Cuba, will Hillary have the strong decision-making skills to do the right thing with the codes all by herself, or is she going to need Bill's and Abedin's advice? Hillary cannot stand on her own two feet. She is going to need Bill and Abedin with her every time she needs to make a major decision, like when to release the codes in a major crisis.
