Now that we are done with the presidential debates, with just a few weeks until Election Day, the choice for the country could not be more stark. Hillary Clinton promises to continue the economic and foreign policy path of Barack Obama, which has weakened our country and emboldened our enemies. By expanding government spending, forgiving student loan debt, granting amnesty to millions of illegals, raising taxes, continuing with Obamacare, Madam President would massively pile on debt to a nation already leveraged to the hilt.
As for Donald Trump, he will streamline government, cut taxes, incentivize businesses to bring assets back to the U.S., retire Obamacare, renegotiate bad trade deals, shut off illegal immigration, and begin a new, more pragmatic approach to foreign affairs. On those factors alone, he should be the obvious choice for anyone who thinks America is heading in the wrong direction.
Yet there are still some Republicans including prominent figures such as Jeb Bush and John Kasich who can still not bring themselves to live up to their pledge to support their partys nominee. They cite not only his temperament but his failure to show any capacity to learn about conservatism.
They should have taken notice, however, that Trump, on stage in Las Vegas Wednesday, clearly demonstrated that he has really learned something significant about the issue of abortion. Killing babies, especially those in the latter stages of pregnancy no matter how Mrs. Clinton tried to justify it is evil....

I remember you supporting Cruz and fighting the Trump guys back in the primary here on FR. I liked Cruz too but am very pleased to have heard Trump talk about partial birth abortion in the third debate.
Heck if Trump wins and appoints SC justices like Clarence Thomas and Scalia he’d be 100x better than GW Bush.
It looks like I will lose some friends this election....NeverTrumpers...
The NeverTrumpers who were once Palinista are certainly redeemable!
Trump sized up what he needed, and between the selection of Pence, his list of SCOTUS picks, Kellyanne Conway and other advisors, the assurance of Phyllis Schlafley, and even the olive branch he extended to Ted Cruz, got me more than on board, but happy to look for the upside, and what he can do.
He also chased Romney and Bush out, and now WE have to bar the door to KEEP them out.
#NeverOutsiders have very cushy jobs and they don’t want that to change. They are on cruise control for life because having a small group of insiders control everything means they just need to go through the same motions day-after-day and get paid bigly. Issues don’t matter - their jobs/life matter and an outsider may change things.
We’re lucky enough to have Trump - and thus NeverTrumpers. But if Jesus came back and promised to disrupt things those NeverTrumpers would be #NeverJesusers. I can just see it: “We love what candidate Jesus is saying but we cannot afford to ‘turn the other cheek on ISIS’. ISIS must be defeated on earth and Jesus is not the right leader to do it”. Or any number of other ridiculous excuses for not disrupting their life for the good of the country/world.
OMG, like they even know what conservatism is. They hated the Tea Party, they hated pro-lifers, they hated even the notion of smaller government. They hated seriously taking on the escalating amounts of debt this nation is racking up. Because Trump is actually more conservative than they are, is why they fail to even see his conservatism.
While always incorrectly assuming they didn't take on their opponents across the aisle out of fear, I have come to realize, it is because they agree with them.
‘#NeverOutsiders have very cushy jobs and they dont want that to change. ‘
and that really describes just what is going on at the Bush/Ryan level of the GOP.
The neverTrumpers feed right into it as they bask in their holiness.
NEVER TRUMPSTERS will be accountable for their vote.
Early in the Primary there were probably more Cruz supporters here than Trump supporters. Many of my friends here and elsewhere were strongly opposed to Trump but I do not have any acquaintances at this point who have not made the transition. Many were never were able to get behind Romney. Yet with Republican Party leadership we have the opposite situation. All were able to get behind Romney but they are still not giving Trump their full support and any little bump and many are ready to turn on him.
To me this seems strange given the stark contrast between the two candidates.
One of the primary purposes of all the women coming out of the woodwork attacking Trump in October is to depress evangelical turnout. Romney couldn’t get them to the polls in 2012 and it made the difference. Evangelicals need to be smarter this time, and recognize the scam Hillary & Co. are perpetrating on them.
Luke 17:2
It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than to cause one of these little ones to stumble.
The premise is that nevertrumpers are truly pro-life, rather than conveniently pro-life. I question that premise.
Amen!
The Lord be a true and faithful witness between us.
Given that the next president will be either Trump or Clinton, being never Trump is being pro abortion.
Never Trumps are dense and vapid. They act like children. I see a ton of campaign commercials for Hildabeast. They are preying on sheer emotionalism and idiotic rhetoric with zero context.
Ole jeb Bush would never have said that his road map is over turning roe v wade and kicking it back to the states.
