Dunno, but he doesn’t touch it because the demagogues would spin it so hard to the gullible (most people unfortunately - they have purposely been dumbed down/brainwashed by government schools and are pretty clueless about free market economics even though it’s common sense) who as you say, would “eat it up” that Trump would be flung far off into outer space somewhere.
Yep. The only jobs left are restaurant and retail jobs which can’t flee the country; those jobs must be performed on-site.
But they CAN in many instances be performed by robots. And that’s what is likely to happen.
Robots don’t demand higher wages—or collect workman’s comp for a year everytime a part needs replacement.
