Slingshots are illegal in New jersey, believe it or not.

Under state law, manufacturing, transporting or possessing a slingshot without “an explainable, lawful purpose” is a fourth-degree crime, punishable by up to 18 months in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.

Only in NJ and I was thinking about getting one to take a deer in my back yard. I hate NJ and now that they passed the .23 cent gas tax they took the last good thing about NJ away.

I got busted using on in the middle of the woods in CT too. Right behind the Naugatuck shooting range / club.

Cop car came right into the damned woods. Caught up with my jeep.

I faced $500 in fines and of course the slingshot made its way into the cop’s pocket.

Speaking of CT, I saw your post in the Yale thread, where you mentioned Calhoun hall - are you in CT ?
