The media bias toward liberal democrats has been going on for years:
1. BO-swell guy: Romney, ogre, doesn’t help employees with cancer, pay taxes, puts dog on car roof
2. BO-brilliant: McCain, heartless, dumb
3. Bush- shirked military duty: Kerry, war hero protester, swift boat hero, rich, smart
4. Bush-dumb: Gore brilliant
5. Clinton-brilliant: Dole, dumb, old
6. Clinton-brilliant: GHW Bush, dumb (doesn’t understand scanner)
7. Bush-dumb: Dukakis, smart, principled
8. Reagan-old, dumb: McGovern, war hero, brilliant
9. Reagan-actor, dumb: Carter, brilliant nuclear scientist
10. Carter-principled, Ford, stupid, clumsy
and so on ... I think you see the pattern. Same pattern applies to Kennedy/Nixon and Eisenhower/Stevenson. This has been happening for decades.
