How to check to see if my dead relatives are voting? Anyone know what to do?

Posted on 10/18/2016 7:07:43 PM PDT by Be Careful

Does this differ from State-to-State? Anyone know?

Try voting for them in early voting.

you can check online, e.g. in CA
http://www.sos.ca.gov/elections/registration-status/

I would think that the County Coroner would report dead people to the registrar of voters. Proves Government doesn’t work. Put it on the voters by requiring voter ID. Fingerprint and eye scan for good measure.

In my state, you can go online to see if you’re registered. You can actually type any name in there to get that question answered.

I imagine most or all states have the same capability.

Http://www.canivote.org/ is run by the National Association of Secretaries of State. I don't know about every state, but selecting Ohio led to a page to check my registration. It even listed the elections I voted in.

Looked up Jose Hernandez. He died 7 years ago. Still registered.

If they’re still on the voter rolls then they’re probably still voting... And voting a straight democrat ticket.

Many states have a web site where you can look up voter information.

In New Hampshire, go here

If you go to google and enter the search phrase:

NH voter registration

and put your two letter state abbreviation instead of the NH for New Hampshire you will get a summary of voting related links, including one to check if you (or somebody else) are registered to vote.

Unless your state has same day registration everyone should check to make sure they are registered to vote now. And if not do something about it!!

My grandmother kept getting baptized by the Mormons after she died, with different names and birthdates. Think that can be baseline data used for voting fraud?

My late father (Jewish) never voted Democrat. Might be worthwhile to look him up, hmm.

Yea, I just did that to make sure someone wasn’t still registered to vote in California. You just have to have their house#, birthdate and zip code to match to the database.

Ask ‘em. But they probably don’t look the same as your pictures and don’t sound the same as their being away in a dirt nap for a while has changed their accent. And there may be more than one of them. Twins I guess.

Or I can check out that CA web site that was posted. Would have to try to locate my Dad’s drivers license, we know his SSN obviously but the drivers license will have to try to find out. I know that every election cycle we vote at the local Elementary school, they have a list of people and you just point to your name and they mark it off

That is awesome. I found that I am registered to vote in CA, which is probably a good thing because there is an absentee ballot in the kitchen waiting to be filled out. The only glitch in the site is that it only takes CA zip codes, but I live back east. Yes, I do have the legal right to vote in CA, regardless of where I live.
