2016: Republican Party ceased to exist as a viable national political organization
The 2016 election will be remembered as the year the Republican Party ceased to exist as a viable national political organization.
This is the year that an insurgent candidate, Donald Trump, captured the nomination despite the opposition of 16 establishment candidates, their operatives, party leaders, consultants, special interests, major donors and the majority of the conservative media.
Good.
You are either a Trump Republican or you are history
good riddance to smelly garbage
"Riamh nár dhruid ó sbairn lann!" |
It’s Trump or bust for the GOP.
There’s NO ONE who can defeat Hitlery in 2020.
Who ever the GOPe puts up, I, along with 10’s of millions of other Trumpsters, WON”T VOTE.
All they have done is morph into the dem party. But Trump isn’t the conservative. LOL
We Americans need to make sure the GOP gets all of the credit they deserve for a Clintoon presidency. The ho couldn’t have done it without the GOP.
I can’t decide whether to leave the party after 30 years or stay and fight.
The Cheap Labor Express Republicans got beat in the primary and they are livid.
Trump has managed a hostile takeover.
They would sooner lose the election than lose control of the party.
If Trump wins, it’s our job to remove all the Cheap Labor Express Republicans from office.
Starting with the weasel from Wisconsin.
The we move down the list to Ben Sasse and the rest of the turncoats.
There are millions of conservatives and independent thinkers in this nation despite the constant brainwashing that they throw at us in the culture. But we have been abandoned...left to wander the wilderness. I have no party any longer. They have betrayed us too many times. Not just this election, but for many, many years.
Time to replace the old Republican elephant icon with a Trump lion icon. He’s the new king of the political jungle.
First decide what it is you’d be fighting for, then decide what your odds are of winning and who and how may would be fighting alongside you. The answer will be right there, in your gut.
Stop this nonsense. The Republican Party as we knew it was over when Romney/Ryan lost — and this comes from someone who does not buy into the “Romney should have been more aggressive” or “Romney was a loser” memes. The demographics and the media are against us, and, as Pat Buchanan called it 20 years ago, there is a Populist/Establishment divide in the GOP. If Trump doesn’t win, this will not mean that Trump has killed the GOP; it will mean that the last stab at saving the GOP, as it is, has died as a party that can win presidential elections. I don’t know what will replace it, but I am focused right now on trying to elect Trump, not on trying to pin the blame on one individual or knot of people for something that has been buildingfor more than two decades.
... how many...
Republicans are merely the Liberal Establishment flavor that wants to spend SLIGHTLY less massively. Otherwise, the parties are the same. Bought, paid for, and totally in the pocket of Corporatists. Anti-American.
There is no conservative of note anywhere on the playing field.
the pundit conservatives were just like the left they wanted ISSUES not solutions.
a solution would eliminate their cash flow.
It ain't about conservative or liberal no more.
