Media and their darlings
The Gisborne Herald (New Zealand) ^ | October 15, 2016 | A. Abbott

So I read your paper and watched the news on the idiot box, hoping for some journalistic objectivity. I honestly didn’t expect it, and guess what — I wasn’t disappointed.

We have the accusations against Trump — key word being accusations — in your paper and on the news on television, but not a mention of the thousands of emails being dumped by Wikileaks this week. These documents clearly show Clinton’s complete disregard of national security and her total lack of respect for the American people, but since when does the mainstream media report actual fact? They like to sensationalise the news and will grandstand with accusations years old that are suddenly thrust into the limelight just weeks before the election.

It is strange that Wikileaks was the media’s darling when leaking documents about the Bush administration and Iraq, but not a mention now it is showing the truth about Clinton.

If Clinton becomes President we should be very worried. She will make America even weaker on the world’s political stage.

Obama has already destroyed America’s international security strength. And the vacuum this has created is being filled by Russia and China, especially in South East Asia and the Pacific region.

A couple of facts to finish: A life-long Democrat county chairman has decided, with another million signed-up Democrats across the country, to vote for Trump because they do not trust Clinton. In an NBC news poll 11 percent of Americans think Clinton is honest and trustworthy. While 14 percent of Americans believe in bigfoot. Food for thought.
