With the exception of a few family members who have been summarily banned from our home, we still open our doors to family for birthdays and holidays. My parents are 87 and 88 years old and are lifetime DEmocrats and they know where hubby and I stand. We never discuss politics because I love them and life is too short for arguing. The worst of the family are the snarky snowflake Millenials. I have no patience for them.
