Every last Benedict Arnold on that anti-Trump GOP list published over the weekend should be voted out of whatever office they hold. They have NO principles that matter to the future of the nation, and you certainly would never want to share a fox hole with any of these cowards.

Some of these rumors were likely fueled by changes in Pence's schedule on very short notice. He was supposed to attend a fundraiser here in New Jersey today, but it was announced last night that he would not be attending.

It's good to see him sticking it out. He has a tough role to play here -- between a Trump campaign that is built on courting independents and politically disconnected voters, and the GOP establishment that is lined up against them.

When I look at this campaign, the closest parallel example I can think of would be the Jesse Ventura race for the governor's office back in 1998. It's probably not a coincidence that his victory came as a result of popular disgust at the two major parties -- at the height of Bill Clinton's impeachment proceedings.
