HILLARY CLINTON CAMPAIGN HOLDS ITS BREATH AS WIKILEAKS FOUNDER MAKES MASSIVE ANNOUNCEMENT
THE POINT: WESTERN JOURNALISM ^ | OCTOBER 3, 2016 AT 12:19 PM | NORVILLE ROSE

Posted on 10/03/2016 7:46:31 PM PDT by drewh

What had been billed as an address to the gathered media from the balcony of the Ecuadorian Embassy in London has been changed to a video presentation that will be shown in Berlin — not called off, as some had reported, but changed to Germany. The reason for the shift in location and the fact that Assange will not appear live? “Specific information,” presumably about a credible threat.

Assange has been hinting for some time that the proverbial “October surprise” for Hillary would have a huge impact on the viability of her presidential campaign.

He appeared on Fox News last month, repeating his assertion that WikiLeaks has damaging documents on the former secretary of state — incriminating emails, potentially. And we all know there’s quite a trail of tears in Hillary’s wake to suggest that new material exposing further scandal and corruption could be in the wings.

Concerning the “C” markings on classified material that Clinton shared through her unauthorized, unsecured private email server, Assange told Sean Hannity, “It’s absolutely incredible for Clinton to lie, she is lying, about not knowing what that is, but it’s disturbing that [FBI Director] James Comey goes along with that game,” the WikiLeaks founder said.

In its coverage of the anticipated Assange video disclosure on Tuesday, Fox News notes that there have been hints that powerful people might want something to happen that would make it impossible for Julian Assange to continue doing what the WikiLeaks Twitter feed declares to be the organization’s mission: “We open governments.”

“Though no recent public revelations directly tie to Assange’s security fears, various U.S. officials and pundits have made threatening statements directed at him in the past,” the Fox News reports says. “WikiLeaks on Monday tweeted an alleged quote from a 2010 State Department meeting at which then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton asked if Assange could be killed in a drone strike. [There has been no corroboration of that supposed inquiry from Clinton.] That same year, former Democrat strategist Bob Beckel said on Fox News Channel that ‘a dead man can’t leak stuff.'”

In its ten years of finding, acquiring and exposing all sorts of secrets that the rich and powerful don’t want know, WikiLeaks has published more than 10 million leaked emails. They include sensitive information about prisoners at Guantanamo Bay, U.S. military operations in Iraq and Afghanistan and a cache of diplomatic cables from U.S. embassies around the world.

The Tuesday morning announcement made remotely in Berlin could be the organization’s biggest disclosure yet. Or it could prove to be nothing at all.

What do you think?

I’m afraid that her corruption cannot swing any more voters unless it goes directly to her story.

So her abuse of Bill’s victims matters to some, because of the hypocrisy.

Her dissing the basement dwellers is something. I actually know a Bernie supporter who is pissed off about this, and it may push him off the fence to vote for Trump.

Showing the blacks how they are being used, abused and taken for granted matters to some of them: especially those who want to move up the economic ladder.

HOWEVER, I’m afraid that her pure criminality and corruption has been accepted by her voters. They think it is still better than Trump, whose personality they do not like. They think somehow the Clinton level of sleaze is just normal.

For those voters, it seems unlikely Assange can move the needle.

With all this hype, my guess is it will turn out to be a damp squibb, or at least the propaganda mainstream media will use strenuous efforts to make it so.

I agree. I’m sure they have interesting info. But I don’t think they are releasing it tomorrow. I read their press package for tomorrow. It’s a rundown of their history with a focus on underlining the credibility of their releases. In that same package they make it clear that they are non-partisan. With that in mind, I think they are pulling a Trump at the DC Trump hotel opening. Get the world to watch as they highlight their own crediblity. Then, in the last 30 seconds, toss a teaser of red meat about what might be released in the future. End of video presentation.

Trump obeys laws to his advantage.

Hillary breaks laws to her advantage.

So guess which one the press goes after.

This is a very nice perspective. Trump and his peeps should use it.

Might it be related to the story about Bill Clinton’s son from the 90s that popped up today on Drudge? Or the “clintonkaine” website put up by Trump ( which is mostly about Kaine, oddly enough)?

something with the bubba clinton global crime syndicate and money flowing to crooks...

Crooks ? If you mean the Senate and Congress, the DHS, The IRS, the FBI, the DEA, the EPA, the DOJ, the Dept of STATE, and the Obama WH Administration, then yes, I would agree with you.

I hope it’s something massive, so massive that it destroys the Wicked Witch. Of course, the Liberal Media won’t cover it. Murdoch News may not even refer to it. Trump and his supporters will have to get the news out about this announcement, assuming it’s important enough. Fingers crossed.

Well, I guess there might or might not be some news that will affect the presidential election when we wake tomorrow morning and check on the latest news.

I’m expecting something important and damaging to Hillary, but still the MSM shills will do everything possible to deflect and minimize any damage to her chances with the voters. Her dedicated leftist voters won’t care whatever it is. How it will affect the those who might still move toward either candidate will be critical.

“The woman left 4 SEALs to die and it hasn’t hurt her”

Her racist bigot muslim master wiped out FIVE TIMES that many SEALs and is worshipped by half of American voters, who wish they could vote for the Fraud again.

All he will do is brag about how he’s been around for a decade. Whoopdedoo

Depending on where you may stand, Assange has already done tremendous damage to our national security and other countries around the world. There are millions of leaked documents on this website.

"Chelsea" Manning is in prison for espionage. He leaked over 3 million US diplomatic cables, many of them highly classified. It has done tremendous damage to our national security. You have access to them thru this link

I am not a big fan of Assange, but I hope he does provide us damaging information on Hillary. She is a present danger to our country if she gets into the WH. She will put us in such a hole that we can never climb out of it.

The only thing that would turn the LIV's against her is evidence she wants to outlaw cat videos on Facebook.

Anything is possible. Remember this guy ...

Wonder what happened to him ?

Agreed. Of all the corruptions of Hillary, this is the one that bothers me the most. Leaving those 4 to die without much of a thought disqualifies her for the presidency. I don't think people really understand it - that it is just one of those things.

There really is no one who explains it clearly and simply. Trump never talks about it. If he does, it is really no more than an after thought.

People don't realize she let them die and there was plenty of time to rescue them and they did nothing.

Of course, the reason why they did is deeper and more revealing, that is, if we believe the explanation concerning running guns to ISIS. That has never gained traction, but is plausible.

The media will work overtime to nullify most of it.

The only news will be Hurricane Andrew.

If I was Trump I’d get a message to Assange that if he does have the goods on Hillary he will get a full and unconditional pardon from “President” Trump.
