The Bundy Affair - #1: What we are seeing in a Nevada Courtroom is a far more heinous "political crime". God forbid that Free Americans have any right to question the actions of the government
In a related article, Burns Chronicles No 30 - Officer? What Officer?, I addressed a common element to the Indictments from Oregon and Nevada. You may also want to refer back to that article to see how the federal government has, over the years, expanded its authority (jurisdiction) well beyond what the Constitution granted to that government. The article covered the extent of the Oregon Indictment, but only the common charge of violation of 18 US Code § 372. The Nevada Indictment goes a bit further. It charges the accused with violation of 18 US Code § 371 and endeavors to provide some substance to the charge, which was not done in Oregon.
An astounding amount of the explosion of federal law enforcement power came from the odd homo J. Edgar Hoover. A cursory look at his entire career has him as the driving force behind an ever expansive federal jurisdiction.
When he started there, they were a minor investigative agency, created by the progressive era and were not even armed. He got the feds involved in the Lindberg kidnapping by simply freelancing and bullying. It wasn’t a federal crime at the time. Same with bank robbery in the 30s. Same with mafia. Same with being a domestic spy catching agency.
All of this belonged to the states or the military before Hoover.
That one lawless foul man did more damage to this nation than we will ever know. Future generations will regard him as an American Beria, or a Heinrich “gestapo” Mueller.
I always thought that these types of charges should be unconstitutional as they are effectively trying the defendants multiple times for the same offense.
I would rather have J Edgar hold those files than HRC.
