In the election, why are people voting for Trump? To make America great again. Why are people voting for Hillary? Lots of little reasons but no grand idea.

Hillary, if she did everything perfect, was never going to be able to get more than 42/43% of the vote MAX at least against Trump. Against a standard pol, perhap that might be different, but the minute Trump was the Republican nominee, she was at that instant stuck with q functional max of 42/43% of the vote... Or in simpler terms, was never going to be able than get the folks who vote D no matter what.
This has been true from the MOMENT Trump was the republican nominee. But you lefties and dems didn’t want to hear it. All you wanted to believe was that Clinton’s $$ and ground game and experience and whatever was so good Trump never had a chance. In reality all of those things were just spotted points for Hillary.. They let her get to her max faster (42/43%) but they did nothing to increase the functional max she is capable of.
Trump not having those things meant it has taken him longer to consolidate his support and grow it, but his functional max is far higher than Hillary’s was ever going to be. Hillary spent August laying low thinking she could just wait out the clock... Doing Nothing to even try to increase her functional max... And what happened? Trump did stumble a bit in early August and she naively thought waiting it out would work... By mid August trumps stumble was done and he was back recovering and building his momentum.
So by early Sept it was clear as Crysral Trump was growing his support and growing his momentum, while she was stuck at low 40/ because she did nothing to try to increase her max... So she comes out of hiding and starts campaigning,but she’s Hillary. She’s an abysmal campaigner and the more she’s seen the less she is liked... Then she shows her true arrogant nasty self and calls Trumps supporters deplorables... Which only further motivates Trumps supporters, alienated some of the fringes of her supporters and increases Trumps momentum further and then we have the collapse followed by the lies about it... And She goes underground.. Once more doing nothing to attempt to increase her functional maximum while Tumps momentum and standings keep growing so so that by mid September all those spotted points have been neutralized. Trump has caught you and he clearly has the momentum.
So we have a debate, and we plan and plan and plan for it and we know if we do well in this debate we will put this loud mouth away... And momentum Will be outs and so will the election... So we have the debate and Hillary does well, and on classical scoring she comes out the winner...the pundits declare me the winner Hillary is all smiles she’s vanquished the unworthy for and can look forward to her coronation...
But wait... What’s this? The debate didn’t help? Trump still has the momentum and its growing! How can this be? She did everything right, she won... But alas a debate “win” does not change her functional max, she gets no more votes for her performance because few if any were watching to see here, those that had not committed had already long ago written her off. She was at her functional max nothing she could do or say would increase her vote total all she could do that would help her would be to depress Trumps total... But winning a debate on points doesn’t do that... Because no one was watching with the intend to vote for Hillary if she won on points... No one. The undecideds were watching to see if they felt trump was this overly dangerous racist hateful person the left and media have tried for the last year to spin him as or was he reasonable.
Hillary winning on points doesn’t get her one more boy and Trump looking reasonable not only keeps his momentum but increases it as he continues to build up to his functional max which was never hindered like Hillary’s has been all along.
All those big benefits, money, experience, ground game.. They got her to her functional max faster (spotted points) but did NOTHING to increase he functional max one vor higher. So now she has to sit back and rail like hitter in his bunker about how could this be happening as trump runs away with the election.
Basically Hillary And the left celebrated because 10 minutes into the 48 minute game they had 42 points. It took Trump a lot more effort and energy and hard work but by 30th minute of that 48 Minute game. Trump is at 42.. And Hillary is still at 42... There are only 18 minutes left and Trump is sinking basket after basket while Hillary is completely unable to get anything to drop. She’s scored all the points she can and nothing she ca do will get her one more point or keep Trump from running up the score.
