A tie goes to the runner, and Trump has been running for 15 months, while Clinton has been largely coasting.
I think most people will remember Trump’s repeated assertion that Clinton has been around a very long time, and has failed to improve any of the problems she talked about. They will also remember that it was Bill Clinton who gave us NAFTA.
I don’t know anyone who is really that concerned about Trump’s tax returns, and really don’t care if he releases them or not. So, for all Clinton and Holt’s efforts in that regard, will really fall rather flat.
Bush, and Rubio ran tens of millions of dollars of attack ads against Trump, and now Clinton has run over $100 MILLION in attack ads, so I don’t think the “sexism” bugaboo is of any big concern. Again, Clinton and Holt’s efforts in this regard will fall flat.
The whole “birther” thing is a total non-issue for the overwhelming majority of people. The only reason it was ever brought up a few weeks ago was at the behest of the Clinton administration, when they realized that Clinton was starting to fade in the polls. No one cares, and on this, once again the Clinton/Holt team will fall flat.
They keep bringing up the “birther” issue because Trump has made amazing inroads into the African American communities and they are trying to make anyone’s questioning Obama’s eligibility racist. They HAVE to paint him as a racist, as they do each and every Republican.
