Police killings of black people in the United States are reminiscent of lynchings and the government must do far more to protect them, a United Nations working group says in a report that will be debated at the U.N. Human Rights Council on Monday.

The hard-hitting criticism - drawing a comparison between modern police behaviour and mob killings of blacks in the 19th and 20th centuries - comes at a time of renewed racial tension in the United States.

This week Charlotte, North Carolina, saw street riots over the shooting of a black man, Keith Scott, by a black police officer. On Friday, a white police officer who fatally shot an unarmed black man turned herself into authorities in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

"Contemporary police killings and the trauma that they create are reminiscent of the past racial terror of lynching," said the report by the U.N. Working Group of Experts on People of African Descent....

Lynching was not a racial terror. It meant any extra-judicial punishment by hanging. Any race. They’ve appropriated it. Linguistic Appropriation.

“U.N. Working Group of Experts on People of African Descent....”

-

That’s funny right there.

The next time a cop is murdered they will bear some responsibility because of their inflammatory statement.

And just what percent of the funding "required" by U.N. Working Group of Experts on People of African Descent.... will come from American taxpayers of various and diverse descent??

(If I could spell Pyongyang, I'd suggest the UN move there, as it is, I guess I'll stick with Mogadishu.)

Re your post #17: Gotta hand it to Obama, Valerie, and if she wins, Hillary.

Importing jihadis will add to our civilian deaths—but it will make black crime look better as a proportion of the total.

People automatically assume that all lynched people were really innocent as new born babes.

Some were innocent, but most really did commit the crimes they were hanged for.

The Trojan horse comes to mind. With all these “refugees” coming in .... how many more shootings by mussies until the DOJ or government or whatever it is in DC acts? I used to just semi-carry but now I carry all the time. 0bama has made us what we are now.

My uniform is blue, but it will NEVER come with a blue helmet. These usurpers will never run me.

Actually black lives matter and company have the lynching mentality. You can bet if they had their way they would string every cop who shoots a black person from a tree. No matter whether the shoot was justified or not.

Maggot-ridden rotting garbage. Police officers are essential to a free country. Screw the UN and the goobermints they rode in on.
