Is Colin Powell being advanced as Hillary's replacement?
9/15/2016 | Total Vanity

Recent news cycles seem to have been a bit positive for Colin Powell. They at least brought him to the forefront of public consciousness. He could be a Hillary replacement and probably the best replacement.

Joe Biden -- no Elizabeth Waren -- probably not Kaine promoted -- possibility Bernie Sanders -- Remote possibility

Either way, if Hillary has to drop it means civil war within the Democratic party. It's going to take a light touch to consolidate that and Colin Powell might have it and can neutralize much Trumps platform.

54 days until the election and a 79 year old man, no way. Hillary is the nominee and
will be on the ballot. Thus it’s Trump, Hillary and the 3rd parties as the choices.

LOL, are you insane? Powell is quoted as saying Hillary is “greedy” and not very smart and that Bill is “still dicking women at his place”.

Change the tinfoil hat.

Powell didn't run back in 2008(?) because his WIFE WOULDN'T LET HIM. Why would she change her mind now?

And if he doesn’t get it, he’ll have another mini-tantrum in the Hamptons.

While I’m fairly certain they’d have to wrest it from her cold dead hands, in that event I agree Powell would be top of the list of people to call.
Al Gore would be on the list too, and so would John Kerry.
Biden is medically disqualified for having had more brain problems than Clinton.

Hillary! must be absolutely LIVID with all this talk about replacing her.

It's all good. Blue is her color.

So let's face it, Demrats are stuck with her. There is no feasible substitute.

Why would the democrats replace Hillary with a (technically, anyway) Republican?
48 posts in, and nobody noticed this?
Sheesh.

Because black.
Because willing to trash Republicans; and likely to die of old age in office, so their vp pick will be the person they really want in; because he is too old to mind if he loses; and in the unlikely event he wins, he’ll do what he’s told.

Fun speculating, that’s all. Clinton will live another 54 days.

He is not a Republican. He's not even a RINO. He served in some GOP administrations, but he is no Republican. From the hacked emails, it is clear that he supports the Clintons even though they disgust him. That makes him sound more like a Yellow Dog Democrat than a Republican/RINO.

“He’s not a Republican. He’s not even a RINO....”

I stand by what I said : “technically, anyway.”
Meaning, Powell IS officially a MEMBER of the Republican Party.
He IS a RINO-—which stands for Republican In Name Only. To say he’s not a RINO is foolish when that’s exactly what he is.

Which in turn goes back to my original point: of course not, the democrats are NOT floating Powell as a replacement for Hillary.

The original vanity post is utterly idiotic and makes us look like a bunch of idiots for even taking it seriously.

Colon Bowel.

Plus, they’d still want to have the first woman president so they’d insist he have a sex change operation. Do you, Coleen Powell, solemnly swear... :)

One year ago Gen. Powell stated he was a Republican and would stay a Republican because it annoyed them. Meaning conservatives. He further complained the Republican Party has swayed too far to the right.

But as you say, he is not even a RINO.

Subject: Highly Confidential: FINRA (action needed)
To: General Colin Powell

General Powell,

In June 2016, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), began an
inquiry into trading activity in Demandware’s stock prior to the
announcement that it was going to be acquired by Salesforce. As part of a
routine follow up to that inquiry, FINRA has now provided us with a list of
individuals and entities about whom it is seeking additional information.

Please review the highly confidential attached list of individuals and
entities. If you know or have a relationship with any of the persons or
entities on the list, please contact me immediately so I can make
arrangements to follow up with you for additional information. It is
critical that you do not contact anyone on the attached list yourself. If
you do not know or have a relationship with any person or entity listed,
please reply to this email confirming “NONE” by Friday, July 29th.

Thank you. Hope you are surviving the DC heat wave!

Best,
Amy
