I guess football can be kind of exciting. There have been a few times (can count on one hand) when I’ve gotten into it for a tiny bit, but I’m glad it’s not and never has been a way of life for me. I see it so much on Facebook with people. They worship their team and the players they treat as if they are gods. With some people, it’s almost a sickness and obsession. I don’t get into any sport, really. I didn’t watch one smidgen of the Olympics. And, to be honest, I don’t like the ghetto/popular culture that seems to infiltrate many American sports. Now the players are all gonna me outspoken activists like Hollywood “stars”! There are players that are exceptions, of course, but on the whole, these millionaire thug idiots don’t interest me. I know everyone’s different, and the die-hards will stick with it no matter what.
The league is already history, trust me. Fewer kids today aren't signing up for county or community football leagues, and that will translate into fewer high school and college football athletes as well. The NFL thinks by siding with the SJWs that they will appease the majority of football players who are black; however it is the white fans and taxpayers who buy the tickets, tailgate, go to the local and chain sport bars, pay for new stadiums, and even join the fantasy leagues that the NFL is profiting on, that gives the NFL their revenue. As the NFL disses the patriotic, military side, so goes these fans.
That's the end goal of the Left. Because the NFL does bring together people and promote civic and national pride, it has to be destroyed.
I used to love all 4 major sports. Now, I do my best to ignore the 2 rap video leagues. Let the NFL destroy itself.

There’s a story today about Wells Fargo employees creating over 1.5 million accounts and 600K credit card accounts without customers permission so they could charge fees and make incentive bonuses. WF paid $185M in penalties, nobody is going to jail.
The prevailing lawlessness is more of a problem IMHO.

If I were a patriot playing in the NFL, I would also take a knee.
In the press conference, I would explain that players usually take a knee when any player on the field is injured. I would then explain that America is wounded and I am taking a knee for the injured America, divided as she is, not just for a specific group. I’d try to hijack the meaning of this insult so that nobody would know why you were kneeling, then hopefully the whole thing would just go away.
