Americans are willing to work. They aren’t willing to spend $100,000 on a technical education only to have their job given away to an H1B for a third the wage the American can work for.
It’s not even a viable economic model to do that, even for those willing to spend that money to get an education and then go work for Hablo’s wage.
You must be visiting different places than I. Most of the places I am in that want these $15 per hour salaries I have a 16 year old granddaughter that could do it on her spare time while in school. These young people I see in my area are not ready for responsibility and therein lies the problem.
