An article in an old Gun Digest illustrated a military fletchette 12 gauge round that looked rather scary. The dozen projectiles contained within looked like little Sidewinder missiles.

I have no idea if they’re still in use. We had them in Korea in the early ‘90s - ready to use against the hordes pouring in from the north.
