I had never heard of the “alt-right” until the other day, when I heard news people saying Hillary would give a speech about them.

So what’s really going on here? Liberals are creating an enemy, this “alt right”? They create this scary enemy group, which is supposed to scare us to death, then tell us that Donald Trump is part of this scary enemy group?? What the heck???

It’s been around a while. We have been getting attacked by the GOP from that angle.

Here is Paul Ryan agreeing with the “alt right” smear in a local radio interview during his primary:

Ryan said Nehlen’s campaign is an “out of state campaign” that was “mouthing these kinds of screeds,” comparing it to the same type of campaign used to unsuccessfully recall Gov. Scott Walker.

“They are not pushing conservatism, they call this ‘alt-conservatism’ — I don’t even know what this … have you heard of this alt-conservatism?” he asked Weber.

“I have, and it’s just goofy and it’s tied into, often times, like white supremacists groups and fringe groups, it’s really a nasty virulent strain of something, it’s not conservatism,” Weber replied.

“That’s right,” Ryan continued. “It’s a nasty virulent strain of something, I don’t even know what it is other than it isn’t us, it isn’t what we believe in. And it’s not what the Constitution says and it’s not what conservatives, particularly Wisconsin conservatives, believe in.”

They want to destroy Leslie Jones: Harassment targeting “Ghostbusters” star exposes the ugliness driving the new right

The attacks against Jones lay bare the resentments fueling what is euphemistically known as the “alt-right”

It is Hillary and the liberals projecting themselves unto Donald J. Trump and those who support him.

Hillary accused Trump of being a conspiracy theorist and then proceeded to weave her own conspiracy theory—which basically was that Putin had infiltrated the right wing extremists through alt.right websites and was controlling her opposition (and therefore Donald Trump).

Why would she make such a wacky charge?

My view, based on my many years of studying Hillary, is that she does not listen to her campaign staff. She must rule—absolutely, totally, without question.

That is why she reminds us of that dead German guy with the mustache in the bunker.

Alt.right is a minor influence on today’s Internet—well, at least it was until Hillary introduced the world to it.

I admit I had never heard of it.

The alt.*** refers to old newsgroups like the old alt.clinton.whitewater newsgroup of the 1990s where we (yeah, I was there and active) exposed Clinton scandal after Clinton scandal after Clinton scandal. We investigated the Vince Foster case and concluded he was murdered with an ice pick (no bullet ever found, in case you didn’t know).

We found out that the Clintons had a meeting with their staff where they had a list of scandals—and we got the list—and there were dozens of potential scandals we had never heard of at the time!

At the time these guys were workaholics—they were running so many coverups at the same time they had trouble keeping track of them.

So Hillary is stuck in the 1990s—imho “.alt.right” is _her_ idea. It is her belief that “they” (some of _us) :-) are out there causing more trouble.

The truth is we old fogies no longer control the narrative—a new media-savvy smart, tough young breed has taken our place on the Internet and in the Trump campaign.

Hillary is out of her league—and she will not know what hit her.

It is hard for us old-timers to change—it takes an open mind and a lot of effort.

Hillary has a closed mind and her ill health prevents her from much effort.

It’s incredibly stupid. But stupidity has worked on the American voter in the past...the Clintons used it a lot in the 90s. They put some stupid conspiracy theory out there and their media blows air into it to make it seem hallway plausible and their idiot leftist sycophants turn it into a theme.

The interesting part here - with this - is it is falling flat...creating far more ridicule than anything else. The boomerang effect is now whacking her. I put that down to three things: they’ve not tried this before in the era of social media, which vettes everything much more thoroughly and light years faster then the media can get coordinated to blow air into a new accusation; Hillary is not Bill. Hillary is a terrible politician and figure-head. There is nothing remotely likable about her, or remotely effective about her presentations; and Trump is not a pansy-Republican, he won’t slink away and let them attack him for fear people won’t like him when he fights back. He crushes these assaults within minutes of them being made. The counterpunch team is on top of them immediately, heaping ridicule on top of Hillary. This is what leftist Democrats always did to Republicans in the past.

I’m of the same view. What is this? Who is this? Instructional is how the sycophant media just takes up the new term and runs with it....having little or no capactiy to originate any new idea themselves and even more cowed by their inability to use same without approval from their masters.

Is this HRC’s vast right wing conspiracy? Is it a subterranean (ha!) network of teenagers working their moms basements? Basements, get it?

If they are talking about racist hate groups a la KKK, what, does the KKK have 200 members nowadays? Hillary’s connection to the KKK and its adherents is 100 times more defined than anything Trump has ever done. Byrd, $20K in recent donations. This is dog bone stuff. What about the Muslim hate groups who have slaughtered dozens of Americans with MANY more to come domestically? Nidal Hassan, the Orlando guy...HRC only wants to let in 500,000 of them.

You really wish these things could be articulated within the typical American’s 11 second attention span. That has always been the problem.

Ultimately, the connection must be made between the VRWC Hillary has always complained about and the freaking FBI who has found her to be lying and compromising America’s security and vital interest for her own enrichment for decades.

It is a real term, not made up by Hillary. I would describe them as the Millenial generation of conservatives. One of their greatest strengths, and biggest differences with older conservatives, is that they simply don't care what names progressives call them. A traditional conservative will curl up into a ball when a progressive calls them a racist, and engage in a futile battle to prove the negative that they are not. An Alt-right person, when called a racist, will just laugh at them and fight back.
