Since you mentioned Sowell, his book The Vision of the Anointed came out in the same general time frame (1996) as your letter. Like your letter, it is still very much applicable and operative today.

I’ve been referred to “The Dark Forest” “None Dare Call it Treason” and now Sowell’s book from you.
Since I am going into all of them with no foreknowledge they should be quite entertaining.
