Also, please make sure that she is in obedience to James 5:14-16 to approach the church elders or at least the pastor, and be anointed with oil. If their church “doesn’t do that,” call one that will, shouldn’t be hard to find.

That should be routine in EVERY church, for when people are diagnosed with any serious illness. Its what His word says to do.

Thank you everyone for praying. I’ll update as I get word. It’ll probably be about 2 weeks before we know why she’s in such pain.

Thanks. They’re very high-church Anglican, so I’ve presumed that they have an “anointing of the sick,” as we Catholics now call that. (We used to call it “last rites,” but that created too much confusion that it was only to be done in preparation for death.) I will make *sure* they do.
